It is very strange for a firm like Halogen to ask that you pay for your training! So give us all the details to understand you better.

The role applied for was a management trainee position.

As for the process, he has done the online test and sent a video interview of himself like 2weeks ago.

He got a call from "them" today inviting him for an interview at Ikeja and he's based in the North.

He wants to be sure it's legit for him to even consider coming all the way down to Lagos.

It is not fake and you are not ask to pay any dime before the interview only if you are selected for the program that will be after the interview, so it is up to you if you want to pay to learn from them or somewhere else. Make inquiries before you start giving out wrong information.

So have you been through the process before to have said it's not fake? Besides, it was a job that was applied for not a training program.
