The Management of Federal University of Technology, Minna withdrawn 45 students of the institution for poor academic performance and over stay. According to report the withdrawal is with immediate effect.

The below is the number of student that have been withdrawn from each department :

Department of Crop Production - 12 student

Department of Animal Production Technology - 6 student

Agricultural Economics and Extension (AET) - 4 student

Architecture - 3 student

Department of Water and Aquaculture Fisheries - 2 student

Soil Science - 1 student

Land Management - 1 student

Building Technology - 1 student

The Department of Estate Management and Valuation had the highest number of withdrawals with 16 students.

There were 8, 100-Level students and 13, 200-Level students among those sent off.

According to report the Management of the institution has so far this year withdrawn 86 student as a result of poor academic performances.

Early this year forty-one students of the institution were asked to withdraw in February.
