Government is only treating the symptoms not the causes so it will get worse before it gets better.

You're being unreasonable. Why do you want the government to deal with the difficult problem of violent crimes - including mass kidnappings, killings and so forth? Is is far easier for the government to focus on 'soft work' such as raiding and hunting the rats called yahoo boys.

Yahoo boys are a bigger problem for Nigeria than Fulani herdsmen, Kidnappers, Boko Haram, armed robbers, and other violent criminals. So the government is focusing on this problem for now. By the time the war on yahoo boys finishes if it ever will, then maybe the government can look into kidnappings and killings. Doesn't matter if millions of lives have been lost by then.

There's so much insecurity these days that one is even scared to go out sometimes.
