Workers' day, workers' dilemma! You have become the best consuming staff of many companies producing goods and services, yet you earn nothing from them. You eat food, take beverages and drink milk and soft drink. You end up making the food and beverage companies rich and keep their investors smiling to the bank with your money. Leventis bread (Value), UTC, UAC or RichToast bread, Mr Biggs', Unilever's Close-up and Omo detergent, Nestle's Magi and Milo, etc. All these things consume your salary on a daily basis while investors in these companies on the Exchange keep smiling with their pockets full. Even in a recession, they keep receiving dividend pay cheques, no matter how small. At least, they are better than the consumers worker association of Nigeria (CWAN), ha ha ha!.
You even spend money disposing your waste while banks that collect revenue from Lagos state government via LAWMA make all the profit. Even when you pay tax, an investor is making money indirectly. What a lifework - working for others to enjoy!
Can You Multiply Your Salary?
Somebody buys cement, paints and other materials to build a house. You live in the house and pay rent; you make the cement and paint companies like BCC, Flour Mill investors very rich and Dangote himself more wealthy. Some other guys are getting consistent income from you eating all the Semovita and loaves of bread produced from flour. What a worker's life! A life full of expenses, making others rich at the expense of their future, I have declared to myself that I will never join the crowd of wasteful investors whose pay package is consumed by the daily running of their life. No investment, no planning, no preparation.
Financial freedom is when you are able to use the money you have made, either from doing business or working for your employer or from any source of income, to generate more income to cater for your necessities by introducing it into an instrument Authored By Hope Eno 08023982600
