The Bank is not liable.
For example if rubbers attack a bank and a customer is on a queue to deposit cash, as long as the cash hasn’t exchange hand and gotten to the tellers position- I.e the cash is still with the customer when the armed rubbers snatched it, the Bank isn’t liable.

The Bank is only liable on duty of care, which has to do with bodily harm to the customer within its premises as a result of a fault from the Banks end such as bad facility, or collapsed building, electric shock etc

These Car could have been packed outside the Bank and not within.

As someone said, hide your valuables where it cannot be seen, so it doesn’t attract criminals.

Plus if you’re driving from one Bank to another, I.w you withdraw from one bank to deposit at a near by bank, be extra cautious when leaving your car. I’m speaking from experience!

But bank owes their customers the obligation o providing some reasonable amount of security for customers in their bank. Can you visit or bank with a bank that doesn't value your security while in their premises?
So the issue Will be , did the bank provide reasonable security?

Is that the only thing?

The stupid policy of Naija Banks is that no matter the amount you have in you account if you like save all your ancestors money in your account, when the bank folds up all you can get is 5hundred thousand.
Besides when an individual passes on if the family does not have his/her ATM details the probability of getting all his/her money is very very slim.
Naija Banks! Fear them.

undecided Hungry in the land, how come some people didn't see them?

If there are ppl around, the robber may pretend that the car belongs to him. pretend that he can't find his key. Even ask ppl around and how he can break into his car. Forming that he is in a hurry to meet up an appointment, decide to break the small glass which he can easily replace.
Before they could understand what is happening, the criminal must have done what he wants to.

It's only in Nigeria u will see ppl complain about English language just like u.
English is not our language so why have a problem with that.
outside Nigeria, U see ppl speak cut and join English and u won't complain. A French man also speaks wrong English, Asians also speak wrong English
ppl in the middle East also speak wrong English. If u speak wrong English in America or UK nobody looks down on u. They are just after understanding what u are trying to say.
Only in Nigeria ppl die for another man's language.
Learn your own language (mother's tongue )and be proud of.

Excellent post.

One common notice I recall seeing on the walls of bank branches back in the 1980's was the simple 'CARS ARE PARKED AT OWNER'S RISK'.

There was nothing bad in the way he communicated his thoughts, but nitpicking on his English especially coming from an unlettered riff like you that starts all his sentences with small letters and does not know the difference between "Round off/up" is funny. undecided
