We're at the penultimate weekend of the Premier League - and it's a long one with Everton and Burnley kicking things off on Friday night and plenty of action on Saturday and Sunday before Manchester City host Leicester on Monday looking to take another step closer to the title.

Newcastle v Liverpool - Saturday 7.45pm

It doesn’t get any easier for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. Still hurting from going toe-to-toe with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, they now have to face Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez. While Suarez has set up five of Messi’s league goals, Rondon has been the provider for Perez six times this season. They all trail Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser and Callum Wilson though, but that’s another story - which can be read HERE. But back to St James’ Park on Saturday night. The Magpies have won six of their last seven at home, scoring twice in each win and have Perez on a fine run (five goals in three games). But Rafa Benitez has never beaten his former club - in five attempts - and Liverpool are on the longest current unbeaten run in the division with 11 wins and four draws since losing to Manchester City on January 3. Their unbeaten run in all competitions stood at 20 games before Wednesday night in the Nou Camp and despite the 3-0 scoreline, they matched Barca for large spells and missed a few chances. They should be too strong on Tyneside and are worth backing at 11/5 to win with both teams scoring. They are no better than 4/11 just to take the points. 



Liverpool can reclaim top spot from City if they win at Newcastle on Saturday night while the race for the top four continues and Cardiff hang on by their fingertips at the bottom.
