Manchester City players have been doing their best to show as little interest in the title race as possible.

John Stones and Raheem Sterling are among the stars to have said they try to watch as little football as possible when they are not involved in their own games, and Pep Guardiola has made a point of telling them all to ignore the hype around one of the most compelling battles in Premier League history.


As coverage reaches fever pitch with just two games to go, it felt like it was impossible to move on Saturday without being smothered by a long read on Liverpool, so the same could be true for City on Monday as the players prepare for Leicester.

It has felt for some time that this group are unflappable - Raheem Sterling was racially abused on the morning of a game last season before helping the Blues to a 4-1 win over Spurs - but most of them will still be in unchartered territory as far as this title race goes with not many survivors in the squad from the 2012 dramatic triumph.


City know that if they win their games they will be champions, but there is an awful lot for the players to put out of their mind to simply focus on Leicester.
