Till the day I leave this world, every 5th of May would remain a cold day in my heart. It's been nine years today since the cold hands of death snatched you away and I still cannot stop wondering what Nigeria would have looked like if you were alive today. Umaru, you will always remain my very dear friend and brother. My Boss, His Excellency my President. A very compassionate man who also put others first before self. A perfect gentleman if there are any. A detribalised Nigerian who saw everybody as one. For me, you were the best president Nigeria ever had.
