A social media user has cried out to members of the online community with claims that his friend’s dad was kidnapped by thieves in military camouflage.

Sharing a post on micro blogging platform Twitter, a Nigerian man identified as Adedunmade Esq, shared a photo post and disclosed in his caption that people were forced to park their cars by the roadside due to an ongoing robbery around Ikire, Osun state.

"Driving on the express and having to park your car because there is an ongoing robbery or violent exchange by bandits is an experience many are too familiar with. Earlier close to Ikire, Osun state, I experienced same." he said.

Among those that reacted to the post is another Twitter user identified as @footiematics, who made claims that his friend’s dad had been kidnapped by bandits involved in the ongoing robbery in Apomu, a small town between Ikire and Ibadan.
He also alleged that the bandits were donned in military camouflages.

"Please guys my friend’s dad was just involved in a robbery and he was kidnapped by bandits in military camouflage around this Apomu, Ikire between Ibadan and Ife. Guys please we need help!!" he said.
