Thanks for the advice brother, we started with a focus on salary earners, later we considered small business owners, and we conclude that many Nigerians are actually very dubious, some folks we even gave 4 to 5 months to pay just because their business is small scale, it has taken them up to 8 months now. We learn everyday, our policy was to focus on people who earn monthly salary, that has been working out well.
People have called me to say they earn over 500k from their business, we should trust them. Ask them to issue post dated checks, they take offence and claim you are asking for too much. We don’t hesitate to close conversation with such people.

These people forget that we buy funds too from the banks to run this credits.

Salary earners are OK. Always ensure you activate a remita standing order on their salary accounts. In this line of business, you just need to be aggressive, else they send you back to the villiage.
