1. SHIFT PRODUCTION TEAM LEAD
• JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a qualified Team Leader to manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.

As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.

Ultimately you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve set goals.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
o Set clear team goals
o Delegate tasks and set deadlines
o Oversee day- to- day operations
o Monitor team performance and report on metrics

o Discover training needs and provide coaching

• FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION SPECIFICATION

You will have a B.Sc/ HND in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology and other applied sciences. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience, as a team lead, in a food or pharmaceutical industry.
2. SHIFT OFFICERS
• JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a shift team lead to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts.
As a team leader, on shift, you are the focal contact point for all communication arising from your shift when employed. You will be skilled in communication, a goal getter, good conflict resolution ability and efficiency management. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Provide direction and feedback to workers during shift.
o Comply with Health, Safety and Environment procedures and legislation.
o Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
o Develop a strategy the team will use to achieve set targets within allowed cost.
o Coordinate scheduled maintenance and autonomous operations/
o Monitor and coordinate production processes to within budget.
o Interprete and implement the production plan for shift..
o Provide any training the team members need
o Communicate clear instructions to team members
o Listen to team members’ feedback.
o Monitor team members’ participation to ensure the training they are being provided is being put into use, and also to see if any additional training is required.
o Manage the flow of day- to- day operations ensuring set targets are met to the required quality, quantity and timing.
o Create reports to update the company on the teams’ progress.
o Distribute reports to the appropriate personnel.

• PERSON SPECIFICATION
o Previous experience, gathered in the FMCG food or pharmaceutical industry, as a shift leader or sectional supervisor.
o Bias for action/ comfortable with initiating action.
o High level of resilience and ability to operate in a high pressure environment.
o Ability to facilitate problem solving in a team forum..

3. SHIFT OFFICER TRAINEE

• JOB SUMMARY
This is an exciting role for the right candidate to train in a fast paced production environment. You will work closely with the shift team officer to oversee the running of the manufacturing process. This training is for a maximum period of 1 year, during which time performance appraisal of candidate shall be done and results reviewed for suitability of candidate to fill the available space.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Assist in the day- to- day management of the production shift functions and administrations.
o Work closely with the shift officer and supervisors to ensure all KPIs and shift targets are met.
o Coordinating the allocation of workers, on shift, across different operations and ensuring the shift runs effectively.
o Learning the production variables, to ensure self development along company agreed objectives, for optimal performance.
o Assist with the monitoring, data collection and collation of process parameter indicators of good manufacturing.

• FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION SPECIFICATION

You will be degree/ HND qualified in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology and other applied sciences. Fresh graduates, post NYSC, can apply for this job.
