A popular Rivers state based entertainer, went naked on social media as he called out Governor Nyesom Wike who according to him has killed entertainment in the state rather than rejuvenate it. The comedian identified as Newman Chinda who is popularly known as Newmanny, recounted how Rotimi Amaechi’s administration gave entertainers a sense of belonging with the annually celebrated “Caniriv” in Rivers state.

The entertainer who went naked as he called out Governor Nyesom Wike, further asked him to appoint him as his Special Adviser on Entertainment and Creative Affairs. He also pointed out that Mr 2kay, Dan D Humorous, Arinze Baba, Burna Boy, Duncan amongst others, attained fame during Amaechi’s Administration because of the former governor’s versatility and deliberate empowerment of the entertainers.
