If you are flying to Vegas where is the car coming from in order to make the road trip? Have you been to Vegas before? I love it, it's my favorite fun time city. Beautiful at nite sucks at day.

Make sure you hit the casinos and check out a play. If you are a drinker you better watch your intake because they are free as long as you are gambling and they will keep them coming. The trick is to keep you intoxicated so you will continue playing your money

Rental car, food and hotels, I hope you have saved enough money because Cali is expensive.

I would have loved to join, but I feel June is too close. I don’t think I will be given leave off work. I am in New York tho, but thinking of visiting Miami and California around July/August

If you make it to Cali make sure that you go to San Diego and check out the Pacific ocean.

Road trips are nice.... but Vegas to Cali?....how long should be the drive?....and wouldn't you be driving for hours before finally seeing a cactus tree?...and more hours before you see another? Adventurous guy you be!

It’s a short 3 hours drive.

OP, check out Hoover Dam while in Vegas. Stop at Stateline, Worlds Tallest thermometer and Indian reservations on your way to SoCal. Also keep an eye out for the solar farm.

Forget San Diego as there’s nothing spectacular there to see.

In LA, do the Hollywood boardwalk, maybe a studio tour. There’s Veronica’s Kitchen near LAX and Toto’s restaurant in the valley if you’re hankering for Nigerian food.
