These guys don’t know what they are doing, they always get behind close doors to address security issues that should be communicated with the Nigerian people at least to give us some level of confidence. There are mechanisms to make security effective, if those things are not in place noithing will work.

Police should be concerned about gathering accurate data about crime so as not to abuse the rights of innocent hardworking citizens by creating unnecessary checkpoints that will be unprodcutive but put innocent Nigerians into more frustration.

What is happening is that the NSC apparently now stands for "Northern Security Council"...
Unsure there's ever been a time Northerners so dominated the NSC, and yet ironically the North is the most insecure part of Nigeria!

They look leaner, especially the chief of Air staff and the inspector General of police.

Many would complain about why the Vice President is not present in the meeting but its tactical .....if the meeting venue is attacked by terrorists and all lives wiped out, the Vice President being outside the meeting has the sole responsibility of rebuilding the government and prevent a state of anarchy.

This is however different during the FEC meetings which is attended by both the President and Vice. It is so because the Service Chiefs are not in attendance and are in-charge of security to prevent any such attack.

Security meeting after the other...There still no improvement on the security situation rather it gets worse. The security situation needs to improve...It is the primary responsibility of any government and each time Nigeria government is always failing it with F9. The only thing that's easy to get a destination on... Total failure this government...

No magic from the service chiefs can quell the insecurity situation in the country, particularly in the north Decades of denying the poor the basic needs of life while they watch the ruling class flaunting the collective wealth has led to self help.They have taken up arms against their oppressors to better their lives,unfortunately the poor and some innocent rich also get caught up in the violence.
