A new study has found that at various times the British have invaded almost 90 per cent of the countries around the globe.

The analysis of the histories of the almost 200 countries in the world found only 22 which have never experienced an invasion by the British.

Among this select group of nations are far-off destinations such as Guatemala, Tajikistan and the Marshall Islands, as well some slightly closer to home, such as Luxembourg.

These are the 22 countries that Britain hasn't invaded : Andorra, Belarus, Bolivia, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Guatemala, Ivory Coast ,Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mali, Marshall Islands, Monaco, Mongolia, Paraguay, Sao Tome and Principe, Sweden, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vatican City.

Not a genocidal practice. Genghis Khan, Hitler, Stalin would fall into the genocide category. It isn't that difficult to suggest that Britain often left a country better off than we they arrived, as an example India. India was invaded like a million times, however with the Brits they left customs, trade practices, English and education. Same with Hong Kong, it evolved light years faster than mainland China. The former British colonies, where British subjects moved to in large numbers, all first world countries USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc. For whatever reasons different than former Spanish colonies.

Nope, probably not that many. The native populations of N. America (Canada USA) were much smaller than C. and S. America. Also all settlers were not British, if you are driving at that.

Technically that isn't an invasion map, just where Britain has been involved in some manner. You ask about Saudi Arabia, Britain and France created, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Jordan, UAE, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon etc. Those countries were all part of the Ottoman Empire.

I don't see that happening, before the invasion of Iraq Bush said "the US has no other better allied than Great Britain" I watched it in Aljazeera then, that was after Tony Blair has offer to support the US. Both Nations has been giving each other assistance right from world war 2, the only time the Americans didn't directly assist Britain was when Britain fought against Argentina in the Falkland war. Britain can not afford to loose the alliance pact with the US cos without the US as an allied the strength of Britain Faces instability and declination, with the US as an enemy and leading to an invasion of Britain could be very desasterous for the London Boys.
