The Premier League will have identical trophies and medals on standby at both Anfield and Brighton's Amex Stadium on Sunday as the title race goes down to the
wire between Liverpool and Manchester City.

In the absence of a successor to top-tier chief
executive Richard Scudamore, trophy presentation duties will fall to either interim chair Claudia Arney at Brighton or interim CEO Richard Masters at Liverpool.

All players that have made at least five Premier League appearances over the season will presented with a medal, with the remaining separately issued by the club to players and members of staff at their discretion.

Manchester City, who are now a point clear at the summit going into their final day at Brighton, and Liverpool, who host Wolves, will also each nominate local community champions who will play a role with league officials in presenting the trophy to the title-winning players.

The "Champions" trophy, which has been at the Etihad all season, will be taken to Brighton on Sunday morning, while the "other" trophy, which is kept by the league, will be delivered to Anfield as standby.

"For the Premier League to be prepared for such circumstances, there are two Premier League trophies," a league spokesman said.

"One remains with the League Champions during each season, while the other is used by the league. The trophies are identical in design and look, and both include an engraved base detailing past Premier League champions."
