If you see it as a justification then you have to upgrade your comprehension capability Besides What's the evidence if the prison boss was truly inside.

What surprises me is that when you see these Naija govt officials here, they will be as humble as tortoise. Try this nonsense here in the West and go to jail no matter your position.

Politicians and military Generals are fined or prosecuted by ordinary cops for traffic offences in sane societies but in Nigeria, as soon as one gets a little position, he automatically becomes above the law.
I swear.

To all those who might not know this. A staff car does not wait or stop while carrying the flag officer. It is a security risk if it does so. Therefore, any car which the occupant is from the rank of comptroller(immigration, customs, prisons),colonel, commissioner of police or it's equivalent in other military or para-military organisations is not required by convention to wait or stop while the flag which is hoisted on the car is at full mast.
The same applies to governors and presidents as well as ambulances on emergencies. It's also the same reason why they all have sirens accompanying their movements.
Please also note that this scenario does not play out once it is 18:00hrs as the Nigerian flags hoisted in all military and para-military formations are brought low by this time. The Nigerian flag is raised up by 06:00hrs.

The Nigerian Prisons Service is the most undisciplined organization I've ever seen. Even to their offices the way they do their work is nothing to write home about.

He'd only get a ticket. Local government are losing by not installing cameras on traffic lights. Red light tickets are pretty much an idiot tax.

I am still wondering why most Nigerian's youth are so dump. You wrote Nonsense and you still get over 70 likes? Anyway let me educate you.In America here, you cannot loose your job because of Traffic offence even if you are a Police officer, so as other folks.but you pay fine or face ban for couples of weeks or months.

you are the dumbest ass i have ever seen, federal and State workers faces more strict decepline when they break the laws. Expecially when you hold a leadership position. There are different agencies and NGOs who will take your case up and take you to court to make sure your are severely punished even if your orriginal fine is $156. Thats why he will voluntarily resign so as to protect his retirement benefits
