Local government in Nigeria is like a towel to the State Governors and State Assembly Members, they use it to wipe their hands once they finished washing. The plight of this tier of government will persist until true democrats who will be selfless assumes the leadership of the various State Assemblies and support the amendment of the constitution (with 2/3 majority of the State Assemblies) to grant autonomy to the Local Government in the Country. 1 Like 1 Share |
