A chieftain of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP in Ekiti state, Lanre Ogunsuyi has described the immediate past governor of the state, Ayodele Fayose as selfish and greedy.

He said this perception has dwarfed Fayose’s achievements as a governor.Ogunsuyi who served as a commissioner in Fayose’s administration said the action of the ex-helmsman has affected the fortunes of the party in the state.

In a short interview with the magazine the party stalwart also said that the country cannot move forward except appointment of political appointees are based on competence. See Details

Everyone knows this in Ekiti. That's not a new story anymore. Another name for Fayose should be "Mr Greed". He wants to have everything in his pocket and fold the hands of others. This single-handedly brought him down. He would have still managed to will APC during the election with their Federal might. Unfortunately, a lot of PDP members who felt being cheated worked against him.
Fayose thought his popularity and sugar-coated mouth could win him the election without releasing funds to the stakeholders of the party. Look at the number of his party members that left in drove a minute to the election.
