Operatives of Operation Puff Adder say they have arrested nine kidnappers on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway and recovered 200 cows from the criminals.

They also said they recovered two AK-47 rifles, four magazines, 54 rounds of live ammunition and five Dane guns, among others, from them.

A press release signed by the Force Public Relations Officer at Force Headquarters, Abuja, DCP Frank Mba on Monday, said the feat was achieved through “The unwavering determination of the Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Mohammed Adamu, to rid the country of kidnapping and other heinous crimes.”

Earlier on Monday, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai,  had said the Abuja-Kaduna Highway is now safe for travellers because of the security measures that had been put in place.

Providing the details of the encounter, the statement reads, “In the latest development, a combined team of Police operatives attached to Operation Puff Adder on the 11th May, 2019 arrested nine kidnap suspects and recovered two AK-47 rifles, four AK-47 magazines, 54  rounds of live ammunition, five dane guns, and 200 stolen cows.”Read more.....

Did they rescue victims? That would have made the story convincing.

Suspect? if they look like fulani, have a cow, have a gun they are Terrorists even if they haven't done anything yet!

Three things on my mind on this,
Buhari told them to rescue cows cos they are important than humans.

I suspect these ones did not settle the appropriate persons that's why If not what is wrong with asking the arrested to take the police to their den.


Elrufai said it safe after they successfully paid of the meyetti Allah.
