Android Q Beta is now available. If you want to know to How to install Android Q beta on Nokia 8.1. then you come to the right place. Learn more about our new features and known issues by reviewing our blog post.

If you want to install the new software, you’ll need one of 21 phones including Nokia 8.1. Previously, support for Android Q was limited to the original Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, and Pixel 3 XL. The full list of phones that can run the beta has grown to 21, including 15 new devices:

You can get Android Q Beta in any of these ways:

Get Android Q Beta on a Google Pixel device over-the-air
Download and manually flash Android Q Beta on a Nokia 8.1 device
Get Android Q Beta on Nokia 8.1 partner devices
Set up an Android Emulator to run Android Q Beta.
First, You have to enroll in the beta by simply logging in with a Google account. Click here to enroll
Then selecting the Nokia 8.1 device on which they’d like to install the beta.
You’ll get an over-the-air update that way, just like you normally would for stable versions of Android.

Once you click “Enroll,” you’ll eventually get an update notification on the enrolled device that a system update is ready.
You may need to check for a system update in order for it to fetch the beta software, but it usually doesn’t take long for it to be ready for download.
As new Android Q developer previews come out, you’ll get a notification to install them, too, as you would for any regular system update.

APPLYING A DEVICE OTA IMAGE
This page provides links to over-the-air (OTA) device images and describes how to manually apply an OTA update to a device. This procedure may be useful in recovering devices that received OTA updates through the Android Beta Program and do not start up after the update is installed.

INSTALLING OTA IMAGES
To install an OTA package to a device:

Download an OTA device image from the table link.
Reboot the device into Recovery mode. For more information on putting Pixel devices in this mode, see Reset your Android device to factory settings.
On the device, select ADB sideload.

Connect the device to a computer with the Android development environment loaded and the Android Debug Bridge (adb) tool installed.
Run the following command:
