The Federal Government on Wednesday lamented over the brand of politics by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, said the brand of politics by PDP and Abubakar “poses a great threat to Nigeria’s democracy.” Addressing journalists in Abuja, the Minister decried what he termed the increasingly unpatriotic and desperate opposition politics by Atiku Abubakar and the PDP.
