If $1bn is required for just 360+ MW how come South Africa alone was able to have 51000+ MW...Why is our thing always difficult and different.

Hello Bro....Please be cautious of how u use this English words.....In this context...It's not "We will suffer"....You should use the personal pronoun "I"........If other nairalanders agreed with u on that.....I didn't....Please do the needful...Suffering isn't my portion
The suffering doesn't have to be poverty. It may be bad roads that will make you sleep on the road for days grin. It may be standing in a long queue for up to two days just to get fuel? The suffering will come in many ways relax bro grin

Mr. Buhari and his cohorts have just mortgaged the future of your children and your grandchildren. It would be different if the loan would be actually used for its intended purpose but that's not the case. The money would be divvied up amongst themselves and before you know it, it would become another abandoned project like Ajaokuta Steel Industry. Which way Nigeria?

Will you shut up.

What is reckless about the loans?

Since the inception of this government, what loan has been taken whose purpose was not met or on going?

If you don't want development, say so.

But if that is d case, y would d govt need $1b dollars to complete what u call an abandoned project that will generate a meagre 360MW? What will now cost buhari to start d project from scratch? $10b?

Solar (Morocco)
By 2020, or even sooner, the $9 billion solar power plant is expected to generate 580 megawatts (MW), enough electricity to power over a million homes.

Peat (Rwanda)

Nov 22 (Reuters) - An international group signed a $350 million deal on Tuesday to finance an 80 megawatt (MW) peat-fired power plant in Rwanda, part of an effort to expand power production in a nation where just a quarter of the population are linked to the grid.

This must be a joke or typo. How can we use 360 billion naira to generate 360 megawatts? You have to be kidding me.
