A new admitted student of the renowned University Of Uyo, Faculty Of Social Science, Department Of Political Science with name Etim Kingsley Peters (18/ss/pa/2271) on Saturday 18th May got drowned at a pool party organized by their department to celebrate their victory into school at Las Vagas Paradise Uyo.



According to an eye witness who explain briefly to our source, the young man was full of energy, though tipsy before the incident, “he was swimming perfectly until a slide mistake he took to go down under water but due to the numbers of people inside the same pool, they couldn’t notice his condition until when his colleague who tried to get his attention, getting closer to the edge discovered he has drowned, unluckily for him as he was rescued late.”

“After being dragged out of the pool, different rescue and safety tips were employed to safe him but to no avail. He was rushed to the University of Uyo Medical center. The Doctors on night shift confirmed that the decease died before arrival to the hospital”
