Not less than, 15 individuals have been killed and a few beheaded by suspected cultists in Kono Bo-ue neighborhood in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State in a recent cult conflict within the area,Nigeria news live reports.

Rampaging armed cultists invaded the neighborhood, raiding the house of rival cult members, killing at random.

A source in the neighborhood, who confirmed the killing, stated the neighborhood have been witnessing cult associated attacks as results of supremacy battle amongst rival gangs.



The source, who’s a youth chief in the community recognized as, Ana Hyacinth, stated the incident has pressured inhabitants to abandon the community.

He referred to as on government at all ranges to urgently intervene in the scenario to rescue the people.

“We woke up to a really gory scenario in Kono Bo-ue Community to the truth that over 15 fifteen individuals had been shot and killed by an armed cult group.



“It’s unfortunate that regardless of moves by the governor to place an end to these killings, cultists have continued to Carey out assaults,” he stated.

In the meantime, the Rivers State police command has been contacted and were but to react to the killing in Kono Bo-ue community in Khana Local Government Area on the time of this report.
