The Present Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello has been rejected by his party members (APC) for a second tenure in office due to his bad governance.

This report was confirmed by the APC forum during a meeting on Monday in Abuja. Some of the notable members who signed it are,
Chairman, Mr Ben Adaji, and Secretary, Mr Anthony Oye.

The national chairman of APC Comrade Adams Oshiomole also got this report and has given command not to allow the Governor for the second term.

He further said that allowing him for the second term will pose a serious threat in the state.

Meanwhile, President Buhari has directed all other APC governors to come as one in last encountered congress primaries though Governor Yahaya Bello is yet to respond to this move put by his party members.
