The Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF), Mr. Ahmed Idris, on Tuesday said the Federal Government shared N616.19 billion as income produced in April to the three levels of government.

The sum demonstrated a reduction of about N1.37 billion based on what was partaken in March.

Idris, spoken to by the Director of Funds, Office of the AGF, Mr. Mohammed Usman, said this at a news gathering toward the finish of the month to month Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting in Abuja.

Giving a breakdown of the income collected in April, Idris said that the mineral income expanded by N56.8 billion, moving from N308.44 billion in March to N365.24 billion in April.

What's more, he said that the non-mineral income Increased by N15.46 billion, that is from N138.2 billion in March to N153.66 billion in April.

"The gross statutory income of N518.91 billion got for the month is higher than the N446.64 billion got in the earlier month by N72.26 billion.

"Incomes from Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), import obligation and Companies Income Tax recorded noteworthy increments while Oil Royalty and Export obligation diminished considerably.

"Esteem Added Tax additionally expanded insignificantly from N88.49 billion in March to N92.72 billion in April," he said.

In outline, Idris said that the Federal Government got N239.65 billion, States got N121.55 billion and neighborhood governments reached N93.71 billion.

What's more, N46.25 billion, speaking to 13 percent of the mineral income was shared to oil-delivering states.

Idris said that as of May 21, the cash left in the Excess Crude Account (ECA) was 144 million dollars.
