The Peoples Democratic Party has asked the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, to apologise to Nigerians for allegedly misleading the nation and heating up the polity with unfounded security breach allegations against the party and its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

The party said that with the assurances on Monday, that the nation was safe for the Presidential inauguration, the minister had further exposed the fact that he, acting for the Federal Government, only conjured claims to create the impression that the PDP and Atiku had set security breaches against the Presidential inauguration.

The PDP in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, claimed that the allegations “have vanished like what they are – phantoms!”
