The Ibadan Interior Dry Port Project Will Take 90 Hectares Of Land, Costs $ 99m by besti28: 6:38pm On May 22, 2019
The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Shippers Council, Mr. Hassan Bello said the new Ibadan Inland Dry Port venture, on 90 hectares of land breadth assigned by the Oyo state government, would cost $99,665,626.

He expressed this amid a visit to Governor Abiola Ajimobi in his office and a review of the rail line expected to be finished before the year's over alongside Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi.

Bello included that the dry port will upgrade the country's freight dealing with limit and help decongest our seaports.

In his reaction, Ajimobi featured the advantages of the inland dry port task to incorporate commercial development, more openings for work and improved way of life of inhabitants of the state.

"The rail venture and in expansion, the Ibadan Inland Dry Port, for which we are here to complete a trade of letters and documentation today will go far to improve the economy and move self-awareness of individuals and organizations in Our State.

"We are glad this is occurring presently, we are a piece of this history, and we are appreciative to God for this.

"On the dread of traffic gridlock, I guarantee you that Ibadan will experience a gridlock of trade, and financial development and not that of thuggery and disharmony. We will work with the approaching organization to guarantee viable physical infrastructural contributions to keep away from traffic blockage," Ajimobi said.
