We complained to our sub-landlord about the carpet in our room. Btw, we are staying with a lovely Nigerian family from our State (lucky us). He in turn complained to the main landlord , two days later this cleaner showed up.. Dignity in labour!

The lady filled some forms after asking some personal questions, asked me to cross check the answers and sign. Then gave me a letter to show I've applied for NI, she said that will suffice in my application for work pending when the NINO will be out (approx. 8 weeks).

Put the quantity you want in a pot, pour in water just to loosen it, like preparing Pap. Place the pot on fire and continue to stir till it's done and gets to the consistency you like. You might need to keep adding small water while stirring on fire. ( I use hot water at this stage)
When it's done (for the brand I bought), it turns to butter yellow. The one my friend in lag served me was dark brown like amala.

Pls do try it. It's very lovely and gluten free

You need a National Insurance Number so that your tax and NI contributions (the latter which I think you can claim back if you leave the country), can properly be recorded in your name.
