What You Need To Know About Nigerian Custom Online Auction. Dont Fall For Scam by sucessdriven: 10:25am On May 23, 2019
Because the Nigerian customs have decided to make public auction of vehicles available online, many scammers will jump on this opportunity to rip many hardworking Nigerians off their hard earned cash. Many unsuspecting people will fall for there antics, but i will do my part to inform as many people as i can. Before you let go of your money please note the following. If there is something i missed please feel free to add yours.

1) The Portal for Nigerian custom Public auction of cars can only be accessed via WWW.Trade.gov.ng then click agencies on the top left and select NCS. If you cannot find your way there, here is the link https://app1.trade.gov.ng/eauction/auction/list/all any other link is SCAM!!!

2) Please be informed when bidding that you are to pay an extra 50% of the winning amount. if the item is termed overtime cargo (25% paid to the terminal operator and the other 25% to the shipping line operator). That is assuming you have won an auction for lets say =N=100,000 what you actually pay is =N=150,000.

3) Owners of overtime cargoes still have priorities over bidders. ie owners of overtime cargos can still claim their items even after you have won a bid for that item provided the item has still not left customs control.

3) you are to pay a non-refundable fee of =N=1,000

4) You must have a Tax Identification Number(TIN) to participate.

5) You have only 5 days to make payment after a successful bid and 14 days to take your item away or you lose it.

6) you are not allowed to bid for more than 2 items per bidding window.

7) The time limit for auctions is 48 hours and it takes place every Monday and Wednesday

lets all be careful out there !!!!!
