we dont make noise or chest beat like people from that side. Some people make #50k per day in their 4 by 4 shops yet they wont allow us to hear word or maybe they think the profit they make in their Gala hawking can make dem a billionaire.

But I read on the other thread that Arthur Eze is worth 5.8 billion dollars? How come he's not on the list? We will not take it angry

5.8 what Maybe in his dream. Forbes can't lie and they don't take bribe and no godfather so every other billionaire not listed are Nigeria class billionaire and not even Africa class talkless world class.

God bless Nigeria I'm.proudly Nigeria at least 4 Nigerians are up there.

I agree..He's very simple..Also Robert Smith is another simple and humble guy who just paid off the student loans of over 300 graduates of Morehouse college in Georgia. Prior to that, no one knew who he was.
There are a lot of silent and humble billionaires out there who we don't know or want to be recognized by Forbes. I applaud them.

Probably just you and few others. If you read business dailies or follow the PE industry, you'll come across Robert Smith.

America, with all its wealth, can only boast of 4 black billionaires
. Nigeria has 4 on this list. That should tell you about the economic opportunities available here in Nigeria.

Statistically, there should be more black billionaires in Africa than America. However, a reason for the low number of black billionaires in America could be them not grabbing the opportunities they have and make profitable use of it. For instance, there are more Asian billionaires than blacks yet blacks are more in number.

@Topic: A reason for the lack of an Igbo billionaire could be due to not scaling the business to greater heights, mismanagement, no succession plan and little diversification into other burgeoning sectors. Truth is: it will be hard becoming a billionaire by importing and even harder maintaining that position through same route. As it's, there are few Igbos in the tech area and that is where it is easier to become a billionaire. Someone like the Paystack founder can become one before any major importer in Onitsha.

My people have to diversify.

Entire south east generates less down 30billion naira a year. That's about 100million dollars.

Even if you add the free money south east get from federal government and naija delta oyel, adenuga will still feed enitire south east for decades without breaking a sweat.

But the man is gentle and not loud chest beaters like iporn-b people. cheesy

Due to America's racial history being a black billionaire in America is a great achievement, probably more difficult than being a billionaire in Africa.

For sure... that's the hint in my comment: those of us who want to go and seek greener pastures abroad, don't realize that the grass is actually greener in Nigeria, since they will face all kinds of racial obstacles in US.

The reason why it is stealing is because they shared the oil wells among themselves, the oil well is supposed to be owned by the country. It is the reason why they cut people head anyhow in Saudi Arabia because the royal families took all the oil wells and became so rich, the same in UAE.
...you are not coherent... Who shared the oil wells within themselves?...is Adenuga now a military General. Who are the beneficiaries of the sharing?..Have you taken your time to look up his history and know whether anything was shared in which he benefited from. Your claims are just wild with no facts..... They cut people head in Saudi because the royal family took the oil well?...please I don't understand what you mean...they also cut people head in UAE too?

I tell you.

and he doesn't shout like dangote. The guy fit overtake dangote because it seems he is increasing every day(5billion to 9.1billion) while dangote remains stagnant at 10billion.
dangote lost his wealth to devaluation and refinery he has been working on though. He used to worth around 20billion.

When his refinery becomes operational, his wealth is expected to increase by atleast 3-5 folds.
