The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Dr. Obinna D. Onodugo as the New Chief Medical Director (CMD), University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, Enugu State followig the expiration of the former CMD Dr Amah C.C.

The Appointment is for a four-year term with effect from 14th May, 2019 to 14th May, 2023.

The Honorable Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole while congratulating Dr Onodugo, the new Chief Medical Director, reminded him the responsibilities of the new office and that Nigerians look for effective and responsive healthcare delivery system in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital.

The Health Minister further advised the new CMD Dr Onodugo to justify the confidence reposed in him by President Muhammadu Buhari, harmonious relationship with all stakeholders in the hospital and effective quality health care services to all Nigerians.
