Helle guys.I want to find out. After you are done with your client's site and handed over to him/her, who is then responsible for the maintenance and site update? If it's the Webmaster as I know, does he do so at extra cost?
Need your sincere response.
Thanks

Yes, it depends on your initial agreement. But if it there was no such agreement, then you can bring it up when he makes a request for additional work/maintenance.

If he launches a new product and wants it on his site, he is supposed to pay you for the work of updating the site.

When you receive an approval for commencement on a project, you should have a template to work that ensures that all aspects of the job to be done are well spelt out. Of course you know that there will be a need for Site Maintenance and Renewal and Site Updations.

All these are by default the site builder's responsibilities except where the owner specifically states that he can do these himself or will assign the job to another, Soo, All your web works and proposals should by default have the section stating what is required for these additional services so that the client knows early.

He's not the techie, you Are!

All the best in your aspirations.
