INEC Releases Statement On The Supreme Court Judgment On Zamfara Election by Udantu: 4:18pm On May 24, 2019
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will announce its decision on Zamfara elective positions on Monday.

Reacting to the supreme court ruling which sacked all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the general election, Festus Okoye, INEC director of voter education and publicity, said the commission will meet on Saturday after an emergency meeting held Friday afternoon.

The APC had been declared winner of the state governorship election as well as seven house of representatives seats, three senatorial positions and 24 house of assembly seats.

if you cancel APC votes from the total votes cast, you will see that pdp meet the requirements.

PDP met the constitutional requirements as emphasized by the supreme court. The valid votes across the entire offices contested are now over 90% pdp's.

INEC has tactically declared PDP as winner of Zamfara State election due to the wasted rigging that was allocated to APC. May God put all your enemies to shame like APC Zamfara. Amen

No wonder bandits are having filled day in Zamfara when those who are suppose to calm and quench the menace are busy fighting themselves.
May the efforts of our enemies on our matter be wasted like APC in Zamfara state Insha Allah grin

I don't understand again, I thought the apex court has taken a final ruling. So why meeting again? Whether they meet or not, it doesn't hold water.

Mehn! This is a blow to APC!
And Oshomole was bragging that PDP won't hv any input on who governs the NASS! cheesy
Good thing Gbajiemela still has oil in his head and is instead building a bridge with the PDP to achieve his ambition!
If Lawan doesn't key in, he'll have himself to blame!

Moral of the story; NO ONE KNOWS TOMORROW!

angry angry INEC has no reason to hold a meeting and issue this lifeless statement when the SUPREME
court has given a clear verdict on a matter as such as this.
Mr. Okoye's statement "on the final decision to be taken on Saturday " is out of place and it's a total disgrace.
Their aim the INEC is to delay the increment in number of elected PDP NASS members before inauguration.
