Dr. Akpanusoh flags off skill acquisition training for youths


Inline with his enormous strives toward proffering dividends of democracy in form of effective and impacting legislative representation, the chairman of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly committee on Finance and Appropriation, Rt. Hon. Dr. Usoro Akpanusoh has flagged off specialised skills acquisition training programmes for youths of Esit Eket /Ibeno State Constituency. This is engineered in relation to the existing reality of oil production in the area and as a means of creating job opportunities for the youth.

More so, Dr. Akpanusoh in his determination to ensure youths are gainfully and positively engaged as well as professionally trained in various areas, has also made provision for youths to acquire offshore and onshore certifications in scaffolding. Consequently, a significant number of not fewer than forty youths will be selected to acquire the Scaffold mastery and Certification as sponsored by him.

This exercise will at the end pave an avenue for the eradication of thuggery, bonkery and piracy and other anti-social activities by the youths of the Constituency, for they'll now be mentored on how to go about the process of money making legally, thereby contributing immensely to the development of the society at large.
