The Akwa Ibom State chief executive His Excellency, Mr Udom Emmanuel today Saturday, the 25th of May 2019 commissioned the 12.742KM Awa Iman Ikot Edim-Ikot Emem-Ukam-Ikot Ebiere road with 3 Spurs and 2 Bridges in Onna and Mkpat Enin Local Government Area.

The Governor expressed the desire of his administration to work, complete and deliver more life-touching projects to the Akwa Ibom people under the shortest possible time. The roads he came to commission according to him “was to link up Ukam to Ikot Akpaden”. He assured Mkpat Enin people that work on the famous Ukam market will commence immediately after the 2nd tenure inauguration of his Government.

Governor Emmanuel went further to re-assure the people that he has enormous interest for the growth and development of Mkpat Enin community and expressed strong confidence that the Ikot Akata Skill Development Centre (SDC), which has Exxon Mobile as a major partner, will soon commence the training of youths of the community. He urged Mkpat Enin people to turn a new leaf, open their arms, welcome investors to the area and accord them the needed support to accelerate the pace of infrastructural renaissance in the area....
