States who voted for Local Govt Autonomy are: Adamawa Anambra Abia Bauchi Benue Edo Gombe Imo Kebbi Kogi Nasarawa Niger Ogun Oyo Plateau Sokoto All the PDP states in the South-South are furiously against Local govt autonomy, yet they are the so-called crusaders calling for restructuring. arewaproudly: You're post is incorrect Bayelsa and Cross River voted in favor LG autonomy. SS is divided on local government autonomy. I hope Akwa Ibom and Delta vote in favor of LG autonomy. The majority of states haven't voted at all on the issue. Fact is state assemblies have power to but people are hyper fixated on governors ignoring them. voted for LG autonomy: Benue, Plateau, Niger, Bauchi, Sokoto, Bayelsa, Cross Rivers, Kwara and Ogun |
