join us to lift 10,000 widows and indigent mothers out of poverty!

Mrs Ngozi Udeh a 46 years old window was left broken after the demise of her husband, before the death of her hubby, they lived happily; together they ran a thriving restaurant business in the heart Congo Brazzaville.

In 2016, after much deliberation by the couples to relocate to their motherland (Nigeria), they planned to do so in steps: firstly, that the husband has to travel to Lagos and rent an apartment for them to settle in and so the husband move swiftly, came to Lagos and rented an apartment at No: 11, Asimou Bamgbose Street, Akesan, Lagos.

While Mr Udeh was in Nigeria for the short stay, he fell ill and was admitted in the hospital; every effort by relatives to get him back to his feet couldn`t save him and so he died after a brief illness in 5th July 2016.

The news of her husband death got to her in Congo Brazzaville as a shock, she quickly packed her baggage, together with their only child traveled to Nigeria to mourn the demise of her husband and to observe the funeral rites. While still in Nigeria, for a period of 3 months, she received another call from Congo Brazzaville that her apartment was taken over by the landlord, her personal and household properties were taken out and put outside her living space and so this compounded her grief.

She traveled back to Congo Brazzaville to see what she could do to salvage the situation, she found out that it was better to return back to Nigeria and so with the help of the "Nigeria Union" over there who paid for flight ticket back home; she finally relocated to Nigeria.

Presently, she lives in the apartment which her late husband had rented before he died. Since she returned to Nigeria life has been a constant struggle to survive, she sells second hand clothing popularly referred to as "bend down select, na only mumu dey go boutique" on her street, sales has been very dull because she buys only the "clearance" clothing which are really not as beautiful as the "1st grade and 2nd grade" clothing that are more appealing to buyers. The meager money she gets is not enough to feed, take care of her child and pay accommodation rent. Even in this moment, she is currently facing ejection because her house rent is due and she cannot renew the rent.

The Voice of Divine Truth International Outreach paid her a visit today to financially empower her with a free grant of N20,000, to invest in her petty trade, this will enable her buy the grades of clothing which are more comely to buyers so that she can sell more and make more money.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY.

Our target is to empower 1000 Widows with free cash grants, to enable them to start or boost their petty businesses. The goal of this project is to economically empower poor widows to improve their livelihood so as to be able to cater for their families.

Please note that the videos and pictures of all our charitable activities are not intended to 'impress or show off' to anybody, rather it is our practical way of teaching humanity how to love one another.
