Legendary Goalkeeper Iker Casillas broke down in tears after his teammate paid tribute to him after he scored a goal, MySportDab reports.

Casillas was watching on from the sidelines as his club Porto went up against rivals Sporting Lisbon in the showpiece match.

After opening the scoring, Porto star Tiquinho Soares celebrated his goal by holding up the No 1 goalkeeper's shirt of Casillas just four weeks his heart attack.

Casillas was taken to hospital from the club's training ground, after falling ill during a session.

The 38-year-old has been recovering ever since, and has been advised by medical officials to retire from the sport.

As Soares produced the tribute, TV cameras focused on Casillas in the stands as the goalkeeper welled up with emotion.

Team-mates in the stands placed their hands on his shoulders, as Casillas shielded his face as the tears began to pour.
