Also, the wife-beating isn't even the real issue here, it's that men are delegated the power to discipline their wives.

3. There are clearly cut gender roles in Islam (men are financial providers, made evident by the fact that they receive double the share of inheritance as women in their same position, leaving women to do housework)

Double standard for modesty in Islam (women have to cover from head to toe except for hands and face and are not allowed to have any sort of figure whereas all men have to do is "lower their gaze". The two are not equatable, and not only does this sexually objectify women by telling them to cover up so their beauty can be saved for their husband later, but it doesn't give them the freedom to choose how they dress, which is, by definition, anti female freedom (I don't believe in the whole modesty reason for wearing hijab though i respect and understand that some women do. my problem is that islam doesn't give me a choice)

9. Muslim Women's marriage rights (or lack thereof)
A male guardian must represent a woman's interests when the nikkah (marriage agreement) is signed, and no such thing is required for a man.
Men can divorce through their own authority and power, without having to ask anyone else. They have the power to make the decision themselves, with no checks on that power. Women can't divorce through their own power or authority; they have to ask for a divorce from either their husband or a third party juror. Granted, a woman can add into her marriage agreement that she wants to be able to divorce herself, but she has to add this as a stipulation, which shouldn't be her burden. She should inherently and automatically have this right, just as the husband does. Bottom line, it's harder for a woman to divorce than a man.

11. Period-shaming in Islam - when girls are told they can't pray because they're on their periods because blood makes them impure to pray, you are already period shaming them. Menstruation is a natural process and it's not like getting injured or cut so it shouldn't make you impure for prayer or fasting.
