A Lagos businessman's decomposing corpse has been found in his apartment, at the Magodo Phase 2 area of Lagos State. The Lagos businessman's decomposing corpse identified as 45-year-old Oluwaseyi Ishmael, was found few days after he threatened suicide while reaching out to family members for help in paying his rent. He was reportedly staying alone at the duplex located at No 5B Ogedengbe Crescent, Magodo Phase 2 residence. 

A neighbour who spoke to Punch's correspondent, said the strange odour that had been coming from the deceased’s house was found to be that of Oluwaseyi after relatives and the estate’s security guards forced their way into the apartment. A close relative of the deceased who identified himself simply as Ade, dismissed claims of Oluwaseyi committing suicide because his family did not support him to raise the house rent. According to him, the deceased had informed his sister that he was sick. He said the autopsy was inconclusive.

The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Elkana Bala who confirmed the incident, said homicide detectives from the state police command were deployed in the scene of the incident to evacuate the remains of the deceased to hospital for examination.

Sad .. But people should learn from this. It's not by force to live in Lagos. Lagos can drain finances especially rent and transport costs.

In such a situation pack out and go to your village. And stay thankful. Being thankful and joyful for any and every situation is the secret of strength and antidote for depression

Edit: pack and go to villa to re strategize or pack to a much much cheaper area of Lagos if your hustle is in Lagos. If the hustle is not tied to Lagos try another state for the same hustle. To leave Lagos doesn't mean you can't come back another time to build houses in the same Lagos with your funds from your village biz. Sometimes a change of destiny and fortune requires a relocation.

there are cases of inconclusive autopsies , fact is an autopsy can be inconclusive due to a lot of factors one of then I can guess for such a case is decomposing nature of the body itself and lack of concentrated expertise in key areas of the body which could detect the irregularities, this also happens in the USA , a case of drug related murder could be ruled as drug over does ,or a case of asphyxiation can be ruled as either suicide or homicides rather the police at this point should focus on the environment itself which is the ground zero or the murder scene for further clues , DNA traces on the body could also help straighten the fact of suicide or murder too.
