The House of Rep members are currently debating the Executive order of President Buhari on the revocation of Firearms.A Lawmaker said an Executive order cannot override the Firearms act wchich is an act of the National Assembly unless there is a Lacuna.

That is correct. Executive order cannot negate an existing law.
