May 25, 2019,In a distinctive undertaking to ameliorate the sectoral deficiencies of education and human capital development in Nigeria, the Government of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem (OSJ) - Knights of Malta is strategically partnering with the Government of Bauchi State, Federal Republic of Nigeria within an inclusive joint assistance framework.
To this purposeful stride, H.E. Ambassador Reginald Chude Njekwe along with other top diplomats and executives of the Consulate of OSJ- Knights of Malta in Nigeria visited Bauchi State to establish understanding towards stimulating the relevant stakeholders and mobilizing the resources to deliver on the critical infrastructures and functionalities.
Working within context as development partners and in representation of civil society, the Benevolent Organization of All Nations (BOOAN) is coordinating with the Office of the Governor, the Office of the Deputy Governor and the Ministry of Education, Government of Bauchi State to align with OSJ-Malta in the resuscitation and upgrade of the Education Resource Centre.
During the remarkably warm reception from the people and Government of Bauchi State, the significance of the Education Resource Centre in bolstering training and advancement of teachers and the quality of education within Nigeria was emphasized.
The Project is bound to have far-reaching impact especially as it is deemed to provide a sustainable foundation for holistic socio-economic development.
