You are not in a position to decide anything. Your Governor is sharing kerosene and Sniper and you have turned yourself to unsolicited adviser in Lagos.

Alaigbo needs sensible leadership, carry your advice there.

It is better to share kerosene than the puppet who shared amala. Return back to Osun, olodo claiming Lagos

I get all this hyper the governor and his deputy are trying to do but :
The easiest thing sanwo and hanzat can do first is to domicile the maintenance and repair of roads to the local government. Instead of having the public works in Ojodu Berger going to all the local governments and lcdas to fiX roads, let there be a fully equipped public works department domiciled in every local government and lcda. Fund them properly and equip them and make them accountable. People in each local government can go to the local government to complain about bad roads and all to have them fixed. Eventually their capacity can be improved to road construction especially inner roads and drainage construction. As long as they perform using quality materials, it will lead to a big achievement in road construction and maintenance

You go school..thumbs up

You better be guided so you won't be confused and who are the people? So for a governor in office to make a decision you have to go through referendum or what undecided

True. This tells me this guy will be a failure. For sanitation... he should be laying out the policy.... so if he has to go to the people to decide what is best then he has no vision... no problem solving skills and would be unable to even maintain the current standard of the city. It's downhill from here. Recycle to create jobs?...is that the purpose of recycling?...and what products would be recycled?...where would they be taken to be recycled? These are the questions the media should stuff him with.

My contribution is about being conscious of time as Lagos State has massive developmental growth while lawma sector need to be well balance with good roads connection.

Thank you. I don't know why people easily forget history....more so, mr governor should be well informed about things and not making blatant pronouncement. The judgement needs be challenged in the law court before revisiting the sanitation thing...
Craziestgirl:
Monthly Sanitation exercise and 'restriction of movement' by a State government was deemed to be unlawful by a competent court.
Simple.

This one is as clueless the military. So a city that cannot clear it's dirt in 30 days of 24hrs will wait for 3hrs in a month do so? Which other mega city does that world over? Does he understand the economic impact? So a passenger arriving Nigeria from an international flight will be held up at the airport for up to 6 hours because one clueless government does not have idea on how to manage waste? Where else do they do this?

Does it then mean this man had no idea what to do and they were busy castigating Ambode? For how long shall we continue to showcase our mediocrity to the world? This is 2020 for crying out loud.

He is trying to pacify some power brokers that were against Ambode, so he came up with an executive order that address some of their grievances on money, he empowers lastma, Vio and lawma PSP operators in less than 24hrs of assuming office.

You are as stupid as this governor.

If they want a cleaner state they need to regularize the process of dealing with refuse.

Forcing people to stay at home and clean is something you would expect from a clueless military government.

Honestly, I was stunned that he insulted you for a comment that makes sense. Slating a particular day in a MONTH to clean the ENTIRE state is a stoopid idea.

This guy had been part of different generations of APC govt in Lagos state. So he is not starting as a beginner that is why he is starting early to show us positive signs of 'a good and active governor' in making.
I pray for God to help him overcome distractions. I wish this guy success. Lagos is our pride

The LGs will now have access to their funds with the recent NFIU regulations.

The LGs can now decide to invest in this.
