Dysmenorrhea is the place a female feels pain within the lower abdomen. It can be cold pain, burning or stabbing pain, dull pain or bearing-down pain before or after menstruation. They could also believe breast tenderness, anal pain and chest tightness irritability. Many gynecological diseases may cause dysmenorrhea. Therefore, do not necessarily have to overlook the dysmenorrhea, specially the hidden factors that cause dysmenorrhea.

The increase of prostaglandins in endometrium and blood will be the main reason for dysmenorrhea. Prostaglandins excite the uterus, ultimately causing intense muscle contraction, uterine ischemia, hypoxia and pain. When there is a sizable levels of prostaglandins type in the bloodstream, it'll cause contraction of gastrointestinal muscles, which explains why nausea and vomiting occurs, and acompanying with abdominal pain, and also other problems during dysmenorrhea.

Food therapy for dysmenorrhea vomiting:

Ingredients: ginger 10g, hawthorn 15g, brown sugar of appropriate amount
Way of cooking: ginger, hawthorn cooked with water, make juice away from them, put brown sugar if it is done, and have a bowl from it on morning at evening.

Efficacy: Ginger warms the stomach and relieves cold and vomiting; Hawthorn promotes digesting as an appetizer; Brown sugar activates Qi and blood and helps with the circulation of blood. All in all, this drink works for women with dysmenorrhea vomiting.
