THE NIGERIAN FINANCIAL UNIT (NFIU) HAS BARRED GOVERNORS FROM TAKING FROM FUNDS MEANT FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. THE NFIU SAID THE DIRECTIVE WILL TAKE EFFECT AS FROM SATURDAY, JUNE 1, AND ANYBODY WHO DEFAULTS WILL BE FULL SANCTIONED.
