Lately on Friday, the country home of the immediate ex-governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha was attacked by set of unidentified gunmen, assumed to be hired assassins, according to newsmen.

The ex-governor’s abode is situated in Ogboko, Ideato South council Area of Imo State.

According to a family source, the unidentified gunmen arrived, the Ex-Governor Okorocha’s home around 2am and overshadowed the security guard before obtaining access into the main building.

The reporter further said that no valuable was removed, but Okorocha’s bedroom and some other places were completely ransacked, elevating suspicion that the gunmen maybe hired assassins.
