Use Not Your Liberty As An Occasion To The Flesh by Nobody: 5:00am On Jun 03, 2019
Good morning Beloved

Peace be into you in the name of our Lord Jesus.

Use not liberty as an occasion to the flesh

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Beloved, you have been called to liberty i.e Christ Jesus has freed from the Kingdom of darkness and brought you into the Kingdom of the Father. The scripture is trying to give you a remainder that you have been called to liberty but this liberty does not permit you to just live your life the way you wish. Your liberty is for a purpose not just for you to be free from being servants of sin but there is more to the liberty in which you have received.

For better understanding of the text, read the New Living Translation of it thus:
Gal.5.13 - For you have been called to live in freedom--not freedom to satisfy your sinful nature, but freedom to serve one another in love. (NLT)

The liberty which you have gotten is not an opportunity to sin, no!!! Your liberty is for you to live as Christ disciples. Jesus Christ stated one way in which you will be truly recognized as His disciple and this is the one of the reason why you have been called to liberty.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

One of the essence of being called to liberty is that you may serve one another by Love. Love is the innate characteristic of a Christian - a disciple of Christ. This love is the love of Christ (not of the world) which is selfless and unconditional: not expecting anything in return.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

You are dead to sin Beloved and free from it's lust thereof, why then should you continue living in what you have been freed from? Your freedom is by the grace of GOD.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Let us dissect the text gradually:
Who is the Grace that bringeth salvation that appeared to all men?
- Jesus Christ
What is Jesus Christ teaching us after He has brought the salvation to us?
- Deny ungodliness and worldly lust
- live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world.

Beloved, you have been called to freedom to radiate GOD's love as His disciple not for you to satisfy your sinful nature. Finally,

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye WALK WORTHY of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore GLORIFY God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

The desire of the Lord is that you love one another as He has loved you, not for you to continue in sin or satisfying your sinful desire. So therefore Beloved, use not your liberty as an occasion to the flesh but to serve by Love.

May the Lord give you to the grace to obey His Word in Jesus name.

The Grace of GOD be with you.

GOD bless you.

Shalom.
