Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi has arrived the team’s camp in Asaba Delta State ahead of their preparation for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament billed for Egypt, Completesports.com reports.

The former Middlesbrough midfielder, who had been on a self-imposed 11-month absence from the Super Eagles, was among the early arrivals in camp along with Leon Balogun, Ola Aina and Semi Ajayi.

Other players who also breezed into camp Sunday afternoon were Moses Simon, Chidozie Awaziem and Jamilu Collins.

Midfielder John Ogu, Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi, Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo are billed to arrive on Monday.

The Eagles will face Zimbabwe at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on June 8 before departing Nigeria the next day for Ismailia, Egypt for their final camp ahead of the tournament.
